What weapons did they have?

Many Roman soldiers used weapons and the weapons they used were swords, javelin, spear and dagger. Light and short swords were quite important, the swords could not be longer than 50cm. Two sided sword were between 40 and 60cm in length. A pilum, also known as a javelin, was use to twofold in  battles.
